— All purchases are final.
— All purchases include a formal and valid Australia Post tracking number as proof of dispatch.
— All items are sold with the understanding that they are secondhand, recycled, pre-loved, or dead stock, and therefore, are generally not new. While we make every effort to ensure the quality and cleanliness of our stock, some items may have blemishes, stains, production faults, minor wear and tear, or missing embellishments. Any minor faults found are noted within the item images and description. Notwithstanding this, all items are purchased as is. We are not responsible for any potential wear and tear or maintenance issues post-purchase and delivery.
— When items have a maker's label, we use the information provided on that label, which may include (but is not limited to) material components, wash/care instructions, and sizing. Some items are vintage, and over time, standardized garment sizes may have changed.
— We always provide multiple images, describe each item, and provide relevant garment measurements (chest, waist, hip, length, etc.). We strongly recommend that you refer to these to ensure the correct fit for you.
— When items do not have a maker's label, we can only provide a reasonable estimation of both the materials and sizing. We recommend that you always refer to the images, measurements, and description details provided to ensure the correct fit for you.
— We measure all items using industry-standard methods. Measured items are laid flat. Measurements do not take into account stretch or material variations and are approximations to the nearest whole centimeter.
— Each item description includes the model's modern size and height. When a garment has been pinned to fit a model, an additional image will be provided to show the true fit.
— All items are individually tagged and tracked within our system using a unique number to ensure the item you purchase is the item you receive.
— While we are happy to provide some assistance and recommendations regarding fit and size, it is the purchaser's sole responsibility to ensure (given the information provided) that the garment will fit them.
— Should you choose to sign up for our mailing list on any sales platform, you agree to us taking, storing, and using your data to contact you via social media, SMS, email, or postal mail with marketing and sales offers from time to time. You may withdraw your consent at any time by "unsubscribing." At no time and for no reason will we ever share, sell, or forward your data to a third party.
— THRIFTY GAL is an ASIC registered trading name. You must seek and receive written permission from us to use any of our proprietary listing information.
